UPDATED CALENDAR (CCWM ELECTIONS)

Dear executives, members and candidates,

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) reiterates that three (3) candidates are running for the position of President of the Executive Committee , while four (4) candidates are vying for the position of President of the Board of Directors (BoD). For the first time since its creation, the CCWM through the IEC will organize an electoral process with several candidates (7) for these two positions.

We call upon all candidates and members of the Community to demonstrate a high spirit of patriotism, fair play and courtesy during this campaign period.

Due to the large number of candidates and logistical constraints, the IEC has decided to adjust its electoral calendar to ensure transparent and fair elections.

Here are the main dates to remember:

- Candidates' debate : December 22, 2024, from 1:00 PM. to 4:00 PM,

at Bohrer Park (506 S Frederick Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877)

IMPORTANT: Following numerous complaints and suggestions from the community regarding the voting methods chosen for electing our leaders, the Electoral Commission finds it appropriate to make some adjustments to maintain peace and a positive atmosphere in our community, while also ensuring transparent and credible elections for all.

1. Primary Voting Method: In-person voting will be the primary voting method.

2. Online Voting Option: This option is limited to registered members who have already voted in previous years up to the 2022 elections, but only under the following circumstances:
