DIKEMBE MUTOMBO • CCWM Lifetime Achievement & Community Involvement Award • The Congolese Community of Washington Metropolitan CCWM honoured Dikembe Mutombo for his relentless efforts to help and support the congolese communities in Congo & USA July 3rd 2022 at the Independence Day Celebration & Fundraising Gala for the Congolese Community Center project "La Maison Congolaise de Washington D.C." held at Martin's Crosswinds in Maryland USA.

Special thanks to Mrs Marie-Hélène Matey Boo Lowumba Ambassador of the Democratic Republic of Congo in the USA / Washington DC, for her presence, as well as to the very legendary and reknowned Basketball Player Dikembe Mutombo for honoring us as a member of the Congolese Community of Washington Metropolitan USA - CCWM, and his presence at the Fundraising Gala of the 62nd year of independence of our beloved country.

Tom Hucker is an American elected official and a Democrat from the U.S. state of Maryland. He served from 2007 until 2014 as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates from District 20, which included neighborhoods in Takoma Park and Silver Spring. He also previously served as a member of the Montgomery County Council, representing District 5 from 2014 to 2022.
