As we celebrate Thanksgiving today, first and foremost I would again like to give Thanks to Almighty GOD and to each one of you for the support and dedication that you bring in our Congolese Community of Washington Metropolitan ( CCWM).
It has been a tough and challenging year under my leadership as a President-elect and I want you to know how much I appreciate your contribution to our association. In spite of our differences, I am grateful to have the opportunity to work with such a strong team, to listen our members’ concern and to continue building our community.
During this Thanksgiving season, I will encourage you to show some love and engage to “La Maison Congolaise Project” aka “The Congo Cultural Center”. In the meantime, this will help promote this cause to serve our community now and the next generation.
Also, as you make plans to spend time with families, loved ones and friends, please remember those in our communities who are in need.
I wish you and your families a very safe and pleasant Thanksgiving.
Together We are #CCWMStrong.
Sincerely,
Claude Kamana President/CCWM
